Training Course A: Design Fundamentals
A general introduction to the use of WinDes®, incorporating the core design requirements for latest standards for Sewers For Adoption.
Who will benefit? This is an essential course for new WinDes® users. It is also a valuable refresher for
experienced users, often introducing them to features they have not used before.
What will they learn? The course covers the design, scheduling and analysis of complete drainage networks
with WinDes®. This is the only course that includes the integrated use of the System 1 module with the Simulation module.

An overview of the theory and methodology
Working with the Storm and Foul modules
Practical examples of Storm and Schedules and an introduction to Simulation
